  1. and….And!! First Comment!

Take it easy during the hiatus and remember as you stand in lines and drive in cars, what we always say at the Doctrine, 'take notes!!'

(hey, if this is the first Comment on a last (for the moment) Post does that amplify the position or does it create a never ending first comment loop, thereby….)

    lol

    1. Only the last post of the year, my friend. I'm so busy that I simply don't have time to make the rounds. Believe it or not, I'm going through extreme guilt because of that. I don't think it fair for me to ask for folks to visit me and not return the favor. I'm so swamped at work that I'm dead at night, and have often fell asleep trying to make the rounds. So, instead of making folks mad and having them say I'm a self promoting ass, I'd rather just concentrate on what I've got to do at work and try to get some sanity at night.

And, I'm not really happy with the quality of my recent work since I've been kind of "forcing it" instead of letting it flow. A break is a much needed relief for the present. But, beware, I will return! lol Thanks as always for your comments and support. I do greatly appreciate it!

    1. Actually, I had those taken care of decades ago! (I know, WAY TOO MUCH information, lol) No, Terry, I'm just bushed and burned out. (i.e. see Clark's comment response) I need a little "me" time just to catch my breath and get some of my creativity back. I've sucked of late (I know, you think I always have, lol), and need to get it back together again. We'll talk soon. Many Thanks!

    1. Cheryl, You are one of the people that I feel as though I've not held up my part of the bargain to. I always enjoy reading your blog, but recently, haven't had the chance to get to it. (i.e. see Clark's comment response). I don't know if I'm getting too old or if my work stress is just getting to me, but I simply have no energy at night to hit the blogs after working thirteen out of fourteen days for at least eleven hours each. I see my quality going down, which pisses me off even more. After the first of the year, things will slow down and I'll have a chance to catch my breath. See you then, and do have a tremendous Holiday Season! Many Thanks!

    1. Jessica, thank you so much for stopping by and providing such a kind comment. It's folks like you that make this all worth it, believe me. The best to you and your family this Holiday Season! Many Thanks!

  5. Lizzi, Lizzi, my friend and compatriot in blogdom. After your kind words in your blog, I couldn't do this to you last week, as I'd originally planned. Yet, I really wasn't happy with my quality of writing either. So, the tug of war began. Do I write for others or do I write for myself? And, am I really writing for anyone, or just putting down words on paper (so to speak)? I know I'm better than what I've been showing of late, and I need to gather myself up and find it again. It was kind of ironic that you were writing good things about me at the same time I was disgusted with the product I was producing. I need to step back, concentrate on my job until the New Year slows things down a little, and gather up my talent to produce some good blog posts. Things that won't be soapbox stands, but things that will make people really laugh, and then think afterwards. I was ruining the laughs with the preaching, and was getting so cynical that I didn't see it changing any time soon. Thus, this decision. I'll still be around, and will visit you whenever I can ... just not here. :) I hope you and yours have the best of holidays, my true friend. And, in the blogworld in which you reside, kick the hell out of them and take names! Many Thanks!

    1. Thank you, sir! I already feel the urge coming on strong to return. Still, I don't have the time to circulate the way I need to in order to return the favors of those reading, so wait I must. Many Thanks!
